All.

At the 2008 National I (madly) offered to 'organise' the 2010 LMC trip...
However I'm not sure on the best approach for sorting tickets etc.

So to start:

a) Who's interested?
b) Does anyone know the best route for booking tickets / camping etc..
c) Presumably the French SAOC contingent will be there (as previously). So can we arrange to join in the inner circuit gathering.

For ourselves, we would stop at Maison Blanche (as the 2008 trip did), and will be taking 2 cars (hopefully 2 Alpines).

Dates are 9th - 11th July 2010

I await your postings.

I can also be contacted on 01455 274018.

Regards,

Tony (Willock)

Tony as in 2008 all 10 Alpines are intrested in going again. I have also had a lot more interest from other Alpiners.
In 2008 we booked the camping and weekend tickets from a company called Speechills.
The route we took was from Portsmouth to Le Halve Cost if booked at the end of the year is approx £80 return.
Laughing Terry.

Terry,

Yay a response....

That's good news - make it 12 as we will be taking our 2 (I hope). Thanks for the contact name - I'll look that up.

From talking with Simon Edwards, the club is going to advertise more widely (in the horn) post Cannes, however we could start to make arrangements beforehand. Unfortunately its unlikely I'll be at the next monthly gathering (work getting in the way again).

Presumably as 2008 - Camping at Maison Blanche? - would be good to get all the pitches together as you did last time.

Hope no one falls of the ferry next trip over!

TTFN,

Tony

Just a quick note to say that we have reserved spaces for 20 cars with travel destinations. No idea of costs yet. So who wishes to cvome along?

Travel Destinations seem to be very expensive. We are now looking at Speed Chills and camping at Maison Blanche. See other Notes on the web site
