Hello to all. New to this club and its site but have found it interesting up to now. This is my first incursion into the world of British sports cars as I have been involved in American muscle up to now. I always had a liking for the Alpine so decided to buy one, besides which I am getting too old for my 350 Camaro. I have two Alpines one of which is a scrapper for spare parts the other will be arriving from the UK within the next week. The car being scrapped has a Holbay engine which I plan to replace into the serviceable car. I have stripped the Holbay engine and have sent the block away to the machine shop. I would like some information as to the best camshaft to use to give optimum performance. I will check out the Tech forum and see what is there.
Regards to all.
Tom.
