Location: I thought I got over yesterday but then along came today! SAOC 5194 Trowbridge Wiltshire.

Below is an extract from an email received by the club from his Brother in Law

It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that your founder and first President Chris McGovern died on 29th October 2006 having lost his battle with cancer.

Chris's funeral is on Wednesday 8th November 2006 at 12 noon at Breakspear Crematorium, Ruilsip, Middlesex. I dont know whether anyone from the club would wish to attend or whether an obituary in your next magazine or some other acknowledgement would be considered appropriate?

Chris's second marriage was to my sister Anne and I ofcourse write in my capacity as his Brother in Law.
