HI.

The club would appreciate it if you would please include your club membership number in the Subject line, i.e. Help wanted. SAOC 1234. or state Non Member. and at the end of your question please sign off with your full name, much more personal than a user name.

(1) Or for a more permanent solution to display your SAOC number, click PROFILE and in the Location section enter the number. i.e. See my user name on the left.
(2) Same link but enter the number in the Signature Box. Then put a tick in the (Attach Signature Box)

Unfortunately the profile link does not allow you to alter your user name. This can only be done by me. (dibs admin) Please email me a request if you want to change it to your full name.

The information Officer, Chris Barker, is willing to answer any questions put to him on this forum whether you are a member or not, but feels that knowing the name of the person posting makes it more personal and he may even know you.

The club has about 1600 Alpine known to be in use but membership of the club hovers around 600/700. Sad We wonder why the other 1000 owners do not join and would be interested to know? I will leave this topic unlocked and await replies.

Hi dibs,

Would it not be possible to add a field in the 'Registration Information' section of PROFILE to allow SAOC membership numbers to be inserted to come up under username and before location. If the author of the mail/inquiry was a member his number would show, if not the field would remain blank.

Paul

Hi Paul.

Good suggestion but I only edit the Forum and cannot change the format. However I have taken on board your suggestion and if you now read the edited original posting every one should be able to do it.
