I'm still waiting for my new distributor to arrive, and got a few more parts of my car handed to me this morning, but having had some fun folding the roof away, and been reminded of all the little trim jobs and things that need doing...

I don't suppose anyone is selling a really nice Alpine Series V, not GT (or, not converted GT if it's scruffy but solid, rather than messed with by way of 'restoration') or knows of a good restorer I could entrust my Alpine with to have the bodywork redone to the standards I'd expect?

I'd be perfectly happy to trade mine in for a better one, though I'd like to stick to having wire wheels.

Are the roofs always this fiddly to fold, btw? I think I got it right, but the frame feels all wobbly when I fold it away, can shift sideways, and I can't quite work out how to tuck/fold the roof near the top of the b-post. It fits very well when raised.
