Before I start posting progress on the Alpine restoration, I thought I might post a shot of my new daily driver, which may be of interest.

Not wishing to get political, but that lovely Mr Brown, just prior to him moving next door to number 10, decided to remove my Trooper Van from the commercial category and it transpires that it will cost me three grand in tax to run it through my company, so I've dumped the company van and I'm running this and will hire a van when I need it.

It's a Series 2, it's surprisingly original, but the body is completely shot really, however it's nothing I can't sort out once the Alpine's finished, meanwhile it's a lovely way to travel to work...and it keeps things "in the family"!
